Ok so Daniel's show turning is bouncing around my skull like a pinball, and I'm listening to these two songs by Chromatics on fucking loop all day long, and I really needed to exorcise the demons.

Book talk here, but I think in QOTD, if Daniel hadn't forced Armand's hand (and assuming he would have come around on the topic in a healthy way, on his own), Armand would have turned him all ritual-like: full on carefully trimming Daniel's hair beforehand, the whole drinking the blood back and forth a few times, naked (ok this is my headcannon I don't actually remember anything about it in the books), etc.

Not even as a nod to Marius or whatever, but just because Armand would be so fucking scared to fuck it up. He would do all the little things, even the ones he perhaps knows now to be superstition. Just wanting to give Daniel the best start he could. I am cringe but I am free.
